One of the largest foods producing groups in the UK, providing foods such as ready meals, pizzas and desserts, expressed a growing need for a faster solution to pack 6” and 12” pizzas. They came to Jacob White Packaging with the following requirements:

Our Solution

The company was well-known to us, as we have provided six cartoning machines over the previous two years. We understood the company’s procedures and processes, as well as understanding in detail what they needed for the additional machine, which would complement the models already operating within the group.

We were able to install a semi-automatic, multi-product packaging machine that ticked all the boxes in terms of their packaging needs, hygiene standards and service requirements.

The RSB-3 works on demand from the operator, offering full operational and quality control.  These semi- automated packaging lines ensure the product is hygienically packed to meet food safety standards, ensuring customers of a completely safe product.

With operator loading and automatic sealing with hot or cold glue applicators, the RSB-3 delivers an easy-to-use solution that also increases consistency of the finished product. Cartons are automatically discharged from the machine.

The End Result

Our customer installed the RSB-3 to complement the other Jacob White cartoning machines already operating within the group. The RSB-3 offered them a reliable, semi-automated solution, with integrated, rotary motion vacuum carton erector, manual product placement, and box sealing all in one robust machine.

Made from heavy welded steel box section and with stainless steel guides, this semi-automated packing machine was perfect for a food environment, where hygiene standards are paramount.
