We build packaging machines; and we build them properly. 

We build packaging machines at our Dartford factory. Every part is made with care, tested thoroughly and built to last. That takes skilled people on the tools and in the field.

Roles are hands-on. Workshop engineers build and test machines. Service engineers work on customer sites in the UK and abroad. Designers and sales staff keep projects moving. Whatever the role, the work is practical and part of something that gets built and used.

We’re looking for practical, capable people who know their trade. If you take pride in doing a job properly and want long-term, steady work, we’d like to hear from you.

Each role has its own page with more details, but the principle’s the same across the board: take pride in your work, be reliable and bring a bit of common sense to the job.

We also run a structured apprenticeship scheme for younger engineers, giving them real experience and a path into the trade. Apprentices work alongside experienced team members and rotate through different parts of the business, building practical skills that lead to long-term careers.

All roles at Jacob White are based in the UK, at our Dartford, Kent site. You must be eligible to work in the UK and able to work on-site. We work closely as a team, and that works best when everyone’s in the building.
