An existing client of Jacob White’s needed an automatic cartoner to handle three separate collations of health food bars. They subsequently came to Jacob White Packaging with the following requirements:

• Standard collations of three and six bars
• Packaging 18 bars into a display carton
• Fully adjustable carton heights
• Top product control
• Able to meet strict hygiene standards for food packaging
• Reliable after sales service

Our Solution

Jacob White had already worked with the client before and had a deep understanding of the company’s current products, procedures and processes. The client had an existing NS-X 6 automatic cartoner, which they were happy to re-order.

The End Result

Our customer chose another NS-X 6 automatic cartoner, which offered them a complete solution to easily handle multiple product and speed variations.

Using a vacuum pickup, the NS-X 6 automatic cartoner erects and fills cartons and places them on continuously moving flighted chains. Loading and sealing is automated, and cartons are discharged from the machine using powered belts.

This packaging machine also comes equipped with a “no carton, no product” reject unit which discards the product outside the guard line of the machine for convenience and quality control. Made from stainless steel, this automated packing machine ensures meeting strict food hygiene standards is easy.

Unique variable product size and speed controls are fast and easy to change over, without any need to change physical parts. This can enable multiple products over short production runs without any downtime.
